We were disappointed. Access to the site was too complicated. There was a phone number listed for reserving a spot. Since we don't speak French, that was out of the question. We just wanted to pay and spend the night in the almost empty site. We drove back and spent the night behind a supermarket nearby with a great view.

Nice spot, and you can also park easily around the corner by the castle wall. We spent a quiet night there. To get water and toilets, you have to go into town toward the tourist information office.

Beautiful campsite right on a river. English is spoken at the reception. The pool was visually appealing, but on August 2nd it was far too cold to enjoy it. There are a few hiking trails directly from the site.
