we turned up and stopped to check location on the map. Within seconds we had flies coming in through our open window. No way that we could deal with that during the evening, so moved on. NOT recommended

Three stars for solitude and peace. Quite a way outside the town, with last 100m on an unpaved road.
Sitecode: 104815
We spent two great days here. An idyllic spot with water on three sides. No facilities other than waste bins, but the quiet location was the prime benefit. A cycle ride up to Monsaraz is possible, but a steep climb. Highly recommended

awful. The aire is little more than a small piece of tarmac. The construction of the formal serviced aire has been abandoned. And there is a large construction site immediately adjacent as they build a new marina. Avoid

what a fantastic location, with superb facilities. cannot be faulted. Only 4 pitches, but one other there on our first night and no other on 2nd night. Must be because it is easy to miss. The CamperContact app takes you to the nearest road. Then take what appears to be a farm track on the left to find the aire. On Google Maps it is shown as “Benny & Therese”. Persevere as well worth finding. very highly recommended

Toilets, showers, dish washing area, black and grey waste, and potable water. All immaculate. And a short stroll into the centre. And it’s free. Fantastic
Sitecode: 21217
okay for visiting the town
Sitecode: 2342
great location, very close to town centre. Waste water dump and clean drinking water. but toilet on the site is a disgrace and, on average, it was probably taking new arrivals 10 minutes to manage to work out how to pay and get through the barrier!

Terrible Not convenient to visit the town, as too far out. when we were there in late May22 the whole area had been occupied by a fun fair My advice: avoid
Sitecode: 72510
A quiet place to park with bars , restaurants, and a bakery within 50m. And a very easy walk in the medieval town. Recommended (we looked at the Aire Municipal on the south side of the town, near the railway station. Terrible and well out of town)
Sitecode: 59899
what a fantastic little site: a lovely location on the lake, with its own beach; fantastic sanitary block that they keep spotlessly clean, and great views out over the lake. yes, the trains do run on the nearby train track, but they did not disturb us. oh, and very friendly and helpful staff at reception highly recommended

highly recommended. 16A electricity and multiple drinking water taps, all for €5.20. Excellent value A short walk into the historic town centre, or cycle there. The area oposite offers bike hire, and kayak and boat hire on the canal. We would recommend the cycle ride to Lac de Bouzey along the canal
Sitecode: 14969
a fantastic aire in a fantastic location, being only a 5 minute walk from the historic centre of Equisheim. 3A electricity is provided, very clean, and toilet facilities available up to about 18:30 the cycle ride into Colmar is eithet along the roads, or a big detour to use the cycle routes

what a great place to stay. The municipality have spent a lot of money on the aire and the paths and facilities at the lake. well done Our only negative is that there are no bins for rubbish. But there is a toilet, which was spotless The aire is 6km from turning off the D1058
Sitecode: 51395
was considering this Aire and stopped to look at it. it is as described and looks a lovely site. However, Camping Car Parks need to change their facilities designer: we have a 7.5m van and it would have proved difficult, is not impossible, to get our vehicle through such a narrow entrance set at 90 degrees to the narrow access road
Sitecode: 78899
what a lovely aire. just on the edge of the village. Six well spaced pitches. Hardstandings for the motorhomes, with proper grass between. set in a little park with flowers, tables and benches. no electricity, but water and waste discharge available
Sitecode: 59278
A nice clean campsite with two swimming pools and very clean facilities. But we would not stay here again because: whilst there is potable water and chemical toilet discharge point, there is no facility to empty the waste tank in your Motorhome; no toilet paper provided; no plugs in the sinks; and the pitches are quite small and most slope quite badly
Sitecode: 95272
Not much more than a car park really. Was full at 19.00hrs on 4/9/20, but there is parking also at the foot of the small cliff. Spectacular views of the sunset makes it worth detouring here
Sitecode: 1392
Perfectly adequate for an overnight stop. Gets quite busy as people pass through.
Sitecode: 88132
Brevin Les Pins is a tired town and this is a tired aire with no charms at all. Do not look to spend more than a night here.
Sitecode: 25083
Absolutely no one around, so toilets & shower remained locked up. Electric hook up consists of a cable reel. But a nice enough spot to overnight. But had to leave without a chance to buy any wine!
Sitecode: 71034
Parking is in a car park at the top of the hill above the town. All the parking bays slope, so you will need levellers under wheels. Aire is less than 100m from the Fortresse and only a little further to the free lifts that take you down into the town. Good for an overnight stay whilst visiting Chinon, but choose the campsite if proposing to stay longer
Sitecode: 1542
A very open location, but offering no shade. Very close to village and chateau. Feels in need of some maintenance and tidying up. We were there in late August 2020 and it cost €29 for two nights (including electricity, water etc)
Sitecode: 14598
A great location for an overnight stop, between the walls of the chateau and the river. 2€ for water. Parking spaces are close together with just enough space to open doors.
Sitecode: 86692
We stayed here in mid Sept. A very well kept aire - regularly cleaned by the municipality. Water, waste, toilets and even a shower. Not far from the town centre. A great overnight aire
Sitecode: 10884
GreT for an overnight stop, assuming that you can get a parking place: it is used as a general car park by both locals and visitors to the adjacent nursing home. Municipal site next door looks nice
Sitecode: 73159
A great location on the riverbank. Overhanging trees limit the number of spaces available for larger/taller vans. We found it quiet and enough grass between the vans and the river to sit out in the sun
Sitecode: 59446
Well cared toilet and shower block and nice sized pool. But we were there in mid-October and there was a slightly run down feel to the place. The access road is VERY narrow - our van is 2.25m wide and we probably had 50mm spare on each wing mirror. The biggest drawback for us though is that all the pitches slope front to back and side to side. Almost impossible to get a bigger van level
Sitecode: 22661
A nice aire with room for 14 Motorhome. Toilets etc are perfectly adequate. But the address shown in CamperContact is wrong. From the location given, carry on down the hill to the bottom. Turn right and the road swings around to the left. The aire is on the other side of a small sports field, next to a mountain bike (VTT) Centre. There is additional parking if carry on along Chemin des Amandiers
Sitecode: 24409
A nice aire at a good price. Convenient for walks or cycling along the river bank. Unusually for a french aire, the pitches are widely spaced apart. Only downside is the sound of lorries on the road nearby which went on all night- were they shifting the harvest?
Sitecode: 9777
A perfectly adequate aire for an overnight stop. No problems with the narrow entrance: just swing out across the road. Free waste water dump and fresh water . Not the most salubrious part of town, but we would use it again for an overnight stop
Sitecode: 54821
What a great aire. Clearly quite new, but decent tarmacam hardstandings, water, electricity etc. And with luck you can park so you can sit out on really nice grassed areas. What an aire should be. Entrance a little bit tight for bigger motor homes
Sitecode: 21125
Tried to get into this aire on Sunday 15 September. Absolute chaos with coaches parked up and inappropriately parked vans and lorries meaning we could not even drive through the aire, let alone find somewhere to park. Avoid unless visiting the chocolate factory
Sitecode: 59554
A fantastic campsite and good value off-season with an ACSI Card. However, we tried getting on the site on 7th Sept and only 2 pitches were available. Both unsuitable for anything bigger than. VW camper because of trees hindering manoeuvres and overhanging trees. There were plenty of other pitches, but they had been shut down for the winter! Very unhelpful staff
Sitecode: 30003
A fantastic aire between the ornithological park and the marina. Only bins and water, but a sanitary block (with showers) nearby that is only open during the day. The aire is very popular, but there were about 10 vans parked up on roadside parking nearby. Highly recommended
Sitecode: 52418
What a great location, right on the river bank. Some great walks and cycle ride options on the river bank and canal. Their a waste and recycling bins nearby and toilets next to the nearby townhall. Even a baguette machine near the entrance. Recommended
Sitecode: 54154
The pitches and under trees and the stone used for the hardstandings etc means it can get dusty. The most popular pitches are those farthest from the road, as you can then sit out and eat on the grass at the back of the aire. Great location and you can even sneak into the nearby campsite to use their facilities
Sitecode: 79166
We tried to get in here on 31 August. Clearly a new facility with little or no grass between the concrete hard standing strips. But a good location. However, whoever designed and built this aire needs shooting! The entrance is very narrow, more suited to an automobile. We might have been able to get our 7.5m mobile home in through the entrance with care, but a control cabinet stops this
Sitecode: 22457
Great overnight stop if you arrive in Caen on the late evening ferry. The official ‘camping car’ parking is relatively small and was full when we arrived. If so, just go further up the hill (away from the museum) to the roundabout. Turn left there and in about 200m there is ‘bus’ parking area on the left. Motorhome can park in there too
Sitecode: 62645
The main overnight parking is in the car parking for the cinema and local bars and restaurants. Can get a bit busy, but no problems if you take care where you park. However, if you follow the road around past the boatyard etc, the road leads to a quay wall on the rivers edge. Enough parking for about 5 Motorhome. Lovely views over the water. Be patient and the cars there will eventually move off
