Bonterra is a good campsite, but they've lost their way a bit. After calling to ask if ACSI was still valid on February 26th, I got the answer: ACSI is only valid in April and the current price is €48 per night. Ugh! Prices for the faint of heart.

One of our favourite campsites in the Algarve, we come here every time we are in the area, friendly staff, you can choose your own spot, almost free camping but with electricity and facilities, with “ACSI for 15 euros” per night, great.

Friendly welcome nicely marked out plots but not all suitable for campers due to low hanging branches. No water connection on the plot. Clean showers and toilets. Taxi 14 € back and forth to Toledo center. A bit pricey! 96 € for 3 nights. No bread or ice cream available in our period.No supermarket nearby (to go on foot)
