Camping Gerhardhof

Not often I give 5 stars. It's not cheap (we paid €53 all-in) but you get what you pay for. Large, level pitches with water and elec. A spectacular view, superb sanitary facilities, a shop on site and an excellent restaurant. Plus a swimming pool for the brave. We only stopped for one night but would have stayed longer if the weather had cooperated.

We stayed here for three days, and it was our thing. Everything was perfect for us. We were in spot 9. Sun all day long and a short walk to the swimming pond. The water was 18* warm in mid-September, so not for the faint-hearted 😜. The restrooms were always clean. The price is reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

A very expensive campsite if it's just a stopover, especially considering the amenities at the pop-up meadow. No staff were present upon arrival in the evening, despite being promised one.
