The campsite is now open. But no electricity. And I don't think I'll use the sanitary facilities. 20 euros for no facilities? Mwhhah..... Too bad because the terrain lends itself to making something beautiful of it.

We walked over here this afternoon. The terrain is indeed beautiful and unique. However, the campsite is closed and a huge mess of almost collapsing houses, planks, stones, an empty restaurant...it looks like everything has been abandoned for years

Very nice camping. Expect no luxury stay, but beautiful place in an open place in the forests of Rila. Helpful owners. Very good, authentic restaurant, try the mixed bbq plate! Basic toilets and shower. 15 minutes walk from Rila monastery. Bring cash, cards not available.
