Lemmenjoki Camping

We passed by yesterday, the campsite was closed. We continued to the parking lot of the Jemmenjoki Nature Park (1.5 km) the start of some very nice hikes. Lots of cars in the parking lot but we found a place to spend the night and go hiking. There are toilets that are not very clean.

3 points, you are dependent on a minimal infrastructure. 25 euros with electricity are enough, but they make an effort here. Some support from less poor campers is OK. Attention: no VE available

Covered parking lot where some space has been made for campers and a field for tents. We were not allowed to stand in the places with the best view. No place to empty the chemical toilet and very unfriendly reception. In the evening the showers are only for the people who use the sauna. We drove on to the campsite 10 kilometers away. That one is much better.
