Camping Le Vivier

Wonderfully quiet location. Shower easy. Good restaurant at rafting association. Friendly managers. To GR Caminho St Jacques. Small station a few meters away train Clermont F. to Nîmes.

simple campsite, near the river. It gets 2 stars, because there was no hot water to shower. You can walk fantastically, we walked a bit of the camino which then (for us) turned into the 'sentier des orgues', a walk of about 2.5 hours. Highly recommended

A small, beautiful campsite with spacious pitches. Very friendly managers. Also speak english. Since we were there outside the high season (Sept. 4), there were many places available. We had to pay € 12.50 for 1 night incl. Electricity. They have a bread service, bar and you can get take-away pizzas. Within walking distance is a nice beach or a piece of grassland where you can lie along the river.
