Camping du Lac

I made a booking and had a deposit taken from my account. An hour or so later an e mail cancelling my booking. I e mailed back saying I had a booking paid for and was turning up ...got a sharp reply ..if you turn up the police will be informed ..very welcoming indeed . Obviously got out of bed wrong side ...avoid !

Spacious pitches on a grass campsite. Sanitary facilities more than adequate. Next to a beautiful nature reserve that is very accessible. Small beach within walking distance.

Pitches top sanitary flop. We come to biking in Metabief almost every year. French sanitary facilities, no paper, no toilet seat. Enough showers but water only lukewarm. Could be cleaned more often. Location nice, sometimes a bit noisy from the neighboring sports field. We like the simplicity of this place.
