a pleasant site but could be a lot better with a few simple changes. The pitches could be kept cut and there are weeds everywhere !! The system for the toilet and showers is terrible. A code lets you in but door then remains open an I have watched many walkers and bikers go in and take showers for free !!! There are also some campers arrive who know the routine and park outside and walk into the toilets. A simple card issued on arrival ??

a nice site but could be made better with little effort. pitches need to be kept cut ..lots of weeds ! the toilets have a degree of keypad but more often than not they are unlocked and as there are many motorhomes parked outside in carpark I have watched many come in for showers along with jikers also. The toilet block is totally inadequate for the number of pitches ..mens had only 2 toilet cubicles ( 1 a disabled) and three shower cubicles .

I made a booking and had a deposit taken from my account. An hour or so later an e mail cancelling my booking. I e mailed back saying I had a booking paid for and was turning up ...got a sharp reply ..if you turn up the police will be informed ..very welcoming indeed . Obviously got out of bed wrong side ...avoid !

spent 2 nights..pleasant enough site ..quite a distance to carry water and empty toilet if in the wrong part of the site. Could do with another toilet block given number of pitches plus water stand pipes here and there. Also most pitches are in shade at some stage of the day.

we had pre booked via Caravan and Motorhome club website. we visited en route to La Petit Port to see what it was like . just as well !! it's a pathetic site sorry i didn't take photos !! there are a few permanent outfits here 1 van was at least 40 years old with weeds a foot high round it . A couple of tented outfits that looked like a refugee camp. We didn't stay , done another 2 nights on Le Petit Port. Tried to get refund via CAMC ! NO !!

the location is heavenly! but a lot could be done with it !! needs a revamp with hedges cut and facilities painted etc. right on river Yonne and canal other side of road. Train stop nearby ! can cycle miles along the canal. went 1 day to Lucy sur Yonne to a large pig roast festival hundreds there drinking ,dancing ,stalls etc a great day out !! I am sorely tempted to e mail Le Maire about the site
