Camping Les Berges du Canal

Friendly welcome, very small pitches. Sanitary facilities are manageable. We paid 28 euros with an ACSI card.

Great campsite for a few days. Reasonable sanitary facilities, a bit dated. Nice swimming pool. Lovely bike ride along the Canal de Midi to visit Berziers. A very beautiful town, with its unique lock complex.

We stayed here with our campervan, and the pitch was 7/8 meters wide. The sink was close by, but the water was cold; further along, the shower was lukewarm, but it was hot. The pool was nice, but you should wear regular swimming trunks! Cycling along the canal with locks to compensate for the height difference was fun to watch. The gate closes in the evening, and there's security patrolling the grounds. Friendly staff at reception and the restaurant.
