Camping la Kilienne

We were here on April 20, 2024 and 47 years ago with a converted camper to Africa (Malawi). The name was still there, but the campsite had become a mobile home village. A little further on there is an option to stand, but 'pas de personne!' to open the barrier. Drove on to Camping du Château in Bertangles.

Rude reception where not a word of English was spoken. No amenities available at this time. Absolutely nothing, not even water. And she wanted us to pay 23 euros anyway. No discount possible. Left of course. Pure rip-off and abuse of power, as there are no campsites or motorhome pitches nearby. The whole thing also looked uninviting. Many permanent pitches. Avoid this campground.

pleasant owner who speaks good English. sanitary was closed when we came but for 15 euros we could stay overnight. There were some places for passers-by, most places were mobile homes
