Camping Le Pô Doré

The lagoon pool with white sand is overrated. You have to wear this uncomfortable bracelet to enter, even babies have to wear it (1,5 years). Very paranoid and controlling atmosphere, unfriendly people, especially at the reception. Toilets and other facilities are clean but outdated. Not worth its money. Left after one day.

Whether you throw away a bucket in the high season: €35.80 for a camper, 2 ps, + electricity and tourist tax of € 1,- pp That is not really worth such a 4 star campsite, in my opinion. Free good WiFi, but no toilet paper . Also a nice restaurant. Price/quality not really in proportion. Not in the ACSI GIDS this year, but it does use the discount in the low season. Quiet overnight place. Checked for Covid for the first time in France.

Great camping. Very sweet people and a super nice pool. Where it is wonderful to stay. Never seen something so beautiful. Doable by bike to Saumur. We will definitely come back again.
