Kloster Chotin

A very quiet parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. No services provided. Plenty of greenery all around, so you can easily put chairs in the sun. A good five-minute walk to the monastery, which is definitely worth a visit.

We stayed here on August 22nd, 2024 - not least because of the price increase to €15 in Niederfinow at the boat lift. I think the €7 that you have to pay here for 24 hours is OK. Garbage can be disposed of in the bins on site, toilet or gray water disposal is not possible here. Visits to the monastery are possible for a fee and are also quite interesting. The site itself is quite quiet even though it is on a federal highway.
