Camping Rurthal von Abercron

Stayed here for 4 nights. Thanks to the beautiful spacious spot on the lawn with a beautiful view of the mountains, it still gets 3 stars. The downside is the sanitary buildings. Very outdated and very unpleasant, looks a bit like a prison 🤔. A tip would be to renovate this, then you can also ask a higher price. Shower coin costs €1.20 for a 6-minute shower, but it was really shorter than 6 minutes. Special reception times, so check carefully in advance.

At first glance it doesn't seem like anything, very formal check-in for example, many fixed places, but at the back of the campsite there is a large field with fantastic views. We were without electricity with our VW California for 14.50 per night last week of June. Nice quiet spot at night and woken up by a bird orchestra.

We were very satisfied with the campsite! A wonderful place to relax. We were allowed to choose a spot ourselves and placed it in the middle of the empty field. There were enough sanitary facilities, etc. and fortunately they were clean. It's all a bit outdated, but that's part of it :) We'll be back!
