Honved Kemping

A basic campsite, the train that passes twice an hour drives you crazy, and there's a lot of overdue maintenance. The sanitary facilities, on the other hand, were old but clean. We were charged much more than was actually stated, so that's a major drawback.

The campsite is open again. The campsite is fenced in. The old man operates the gate with a button hanging around his neck. So you're dependent on that for entry and exit. There are mainly tents, and you're practically pushed against each other. When we were there, there were only Hungarians, and we didn't feel particularly welcome. Toilets and showers are in containers, which were clean. A small wooden hut in the middle of the grounds offers drinks and ice cream. Closed at 5:00 PM.
