Camping Vērbeļnieki

An addition to the previous reviews: The price has risen to €24 based on two people sharing a campervan. The organization seems to be better now; it's done with levers and payment at the reception. The price isn't listed at the gate, so that was a surprise. Gray water disposal is clearly indicated but inconvenient without a hose. There's a chemical toilet disposal facility at a building, but the sign next to it says gray water.

This is the first time I've written a review even though we did NOT stay overnight. But I've never experienced such poor organization at a site of this category. Reception has no idea whether there are still spaces available and, if so, where. You have to queue for 10 minutes at the bar just to get this information. Instead of a one-way system, the camper vans have to turn around in a narrow spot + give way to oncoming traffic (in our case, there were > 10 cars).

fine, nice campsite. is located against the beach. many amenities, but empty spot camper is missing. Two sanitary buildings (one old and one new), unfortunately the new one was not open yet. the washing machine was broken, WiFi did not work either.
