Camperplaats Emmen Hunebed Highway

A beautiful camper site with spacious pitches and excellent facilities. Beautiful landscaping, but it needs some time to grow. A great location for visiting Wildlands Emmen, which is within walking distance.

Hello campers 🙂, it's now November 21, 2025. I've already written a review about this new camper site with a 1-star rating. Now I see that my previous 1-star review has been removed. 😠 This is how the municipality of Emmen is misleading campers to attract more visitors to this unpleasant and far too expensive camper site. Emmen ranks last in the Netherlands for quality of life. It's strange, isn't it, with such a board.

I'd heard a lot about it, but I arrived at 3:45 PM. With the help of other guests who already had a spot, it took me about 30 minutes to check in and open the gate. Finally, I called to say the gate wouldn't open. I tried four more times with the staff member on the line, but it wouldn't open. He then said, "I'm trying to get out of here." I did it. I entered the gate code, but nothing happened. 😁🍺
