Camperplaats Emmen Hunebed Highway

A nice spot close to the city center. Not much green space yet, but that will take time. Emmen is very green overall. Lots of woods and a beautiful zoo. A lovely place for a peaceful walk.

What a lovely place to explore Emmen. Still bare, but that takes time. It's a large space, though. We did miss the restrooms, but hey, we have those on board. And they use aanuit.net, but booking through the app wasn't possible. So, unfortunately, we had to get up at night to top up the power.

We were here at the end of October to visit Wildlands Zoo. This place is an excellent base, a 10- to 15-minute walk. Good facilities, but you register and pay at the kiosk yourself (although the price is hefty). Electricity is available. The grounds are fully paved.
