We called to make a reservation, and Frans, the owner, said no problem, just pick a spot. We received a warm welcome and had a lovely spot. We enjoyed our stay here for a few days. It's a great base for geocaching. The campsite hasn't been in Frans's possession for long, but it will be improved in the near future. We'd love to come back again.

The sanitary facilities are now ready, and you can do everything you need: showering, washing dishes, and there are four toilets. Jet and Frans are very friendly people who will give you a warm welcome. The peaceful campsite is a 10-minute bike ride from Assen city center and cycling routes. You can swim nearby in the Baggelhuizerplas lake. We highly recommend it! Kind regards, Peter and Hilde.
