We, Ronald and Marloes, wish you a warm welcome to our camper place Orvelterblok. We have lived here since 2018 and opened our camper place behind our former state farm in 2020. Located in the middle of Drenthe, within walking distance of the monumental village of Orvelte.
We like to go out with our VW T3 camper, but we also really enjoy our own camper place and the contact with our guests. Walking, cycling, or just relaxing at the camper, it is all possible at our camper site. Discover in our information folder what there is to do in the beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful three-night stay here, the only guests at the camper site. It's a place we'll definitely return to. On New Year's Eve, the owner gave us oliebollen (Dutch doughnuts) and a pleasant chat. The only downside is the price of electricity. On these cold days, we spent an extra €25 on the electric heater, and since we'd already run out of gas very quickly last week, we had no choice. Oh well, there are worse things in the world.

A very nice and well-maintained camper site. A fantastic location for visiting the beautiful historic village of Orvelte. And a lovely area for walking from the village across the heathland. We will definitely be back this summer. Thank you for opening the camper site this year.
