Camperplaats Brouwersdam

A lovely camper site at the foot of Lake Grevelingen and the Brouwersdam. Showers, dishwashing facilities, and camper van services are all provided. Highly recommended!

The campsite was affordable and the prices were fair until 2023. Now things are escalating dramatically: €4 more from January 1st, 2026; 5-minute showers cost €1.50 (the temperature is preset and sometimes so hot you scald yourself); from January 1st, 2026, dogs cost €2.75; and from January 1st, 2026, the tourist tax is €2.05 per person... this is a rip-off. In the summer, you'll end up paying almost €50 for two people, one dog, and a tourist shower. We come here five times a year, but not after 2026.

It's ridiculous to charge €2.75 per pet when it's normal to walk your dog outside the property and clean up after yourself. That's driving up the price this way. It really makes me angry, but for this reason I won't visit such places. 😡
