Furuhaugli Turisthytte

Beautiful spot with a lovely view. Very friendly staff. You can enjoy a three-course meal there by reservation. Restrooms are old but mostly clean. No wastewater disposal or fresh water refills available.

Now known as Dovrefjell Lodge. Upon arrival it seemed a bit messy, as if the season had not really started yet. However, we had a nice spot, all around view of the mountains. From here you can book a musk ox safari. Sanitary facilities outdated but clean; not used, self-sufficient. Delicious food in the restaurant. 2.5 km further towards Dombås a parking lot with a lookout tower to see elks (only around sunset).

Very nice quiet place with a view over Dovre fjell. Due to the direction of the wind, the E6 was still audible. Friendly reception. Simple sanitary facilities, but without coins. Now in the fall restaurant closed.
