Regular parking, staying overnight on the coast and Natura 2000 areas in Portugal are not allowed. High fines possible.

Praia do Murtenheira car park by the sea there is a water pump at one of the open houses. Beach bar only 1 km away is Quiaios Praia with restaurants, swimming pool and Spar supermarket at apartment complex, you can also stand by the pool, plenty of space only on weekends or holidays it can be tight, beautiful walks through the Serra do Boa Viagem to Buarcos and Fig da Foz, back by bus 4 times a day
