We arrived at the campsite by chance and had no preconceived notions. We received a friendly welcome and the site is quiet. The sanitary facilities are very dated. The location was ideal for us to explore Porto by bike, and we really liked the perfect location near the beach with its beautiful sunset.

The places may not be that easy to reach, but the friendly welcome from the woman at the reception made up for everything and for 30 euros to be by the sea I think everything is quite reasonable

Despite the mediocre reviews, we took the plunge and were pleasantly surprised; probably because it was late season and there were still plenty of spaces available. In peak season, it would definitely be packed. For us, it was a great spot to explore Porto by bike (a 40-minute bike ride to the city center) and within walking distance of the beach. We were pitched at the back of the campsite, which was quite quiet. The sanitary facilities were dated but clean, and the showers were fine. The reception staff spoke English.
