Pensiunea Danubia

22/9/2019 Ton and José. The parking space is still "under construction". It is a messy event. A view of the Danube is indeed beautiful, but we are spoiled so we are not that liric. Electricity is on the main road and you do not use it if you want a nice view. Few other camper options in the area. The restaurant is doing well!

We arrived here on a Saturday parking lot completely full of passenger cars. We could come back in the evening then there was room again. A little further on at good campsite Camping Mala in Clisura Dunarii. Looked good there and good sanitary.

The location on the Danube is breathtakingly beautiful. Pensiunea Danubia is primarily a hotel, the camper place seems to be less important, when it is busy the campers are close together. The staff is friendly and the plumbing of the restaurant terrace is great. Good and affordable food and drinks on the terrace by the river, also very pleasant in the evenings. We will definitely be back, great place for an overnight stay en route to Bucharest, Serbia or Bulgaria.
