Gamla Uppsala

It's a parking lot, nothing more. It's busy during the day, with cars parked in between because there are no designated markings for RVs. A road to Uppsala runs through the site, as does a crossroads, both of which are busy until late at night and after 5:30 a.m. I therefore don't understand the "quiet" rating. It's 4.8 km to the center, and there's a water supply, a public restroom, and trash. Next door is an open-air museum. Okay for free and "tolerated."

Great campsite. We arrived at 11:00 PM with two campers, and there were still plenty of spaces available. +Free +Plenty of spaces +Very quiet +Clean +Clean restrooms -The restrooms were closed in the evening

Overnight spot on a fairly busy parking lot. Toilet, water tap and waste dump. Free!
