Farthing Common View Point and Car Park Parking with a great view

Large park and ride. Height restrictions have now been lifted. Quiet on Saturdays and Sundays. No facilities other than trash cans. Bus connection to the city. The NCR754 cycle route to the city center along the Union Canal is beautiful!

We stayed here for 3 nights. Very nice spot. 20 minute walk from the Sanctuary. Campsite has a very kind owner who goes out of her way to accomodate her customers. Toilet and shower facilities are newly renovated and clean. Pitches are spacious, the site overall is well maintained. Highly recommend this place for your stay in Lourdes.

Book in advance. Simple, concrete parking space but perfect for visiting the city.

Large gravel parking lot. Locals walk and jog here, quiet in the evenings. No amenities.

Quiet spot a bit away from the road. a lovely hike starts from the campspot. During summer 2025 there is a foodtruck there that sells freshly made vegan food. even if you’re not familiar with vegan food, give it a try. we had a very flavourful and good meal !
