Storängens Camping & Stugor

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Camping Storängens, Sweden Fantastic campsite right on the river, with spacious pitches and super clean sanitary facilities. Dutch owners who immediately make you feel at home. Canoeing and hiking during the day, beaver or moose safaris in the evening, or just relaxing and playing games. Wi-Fi everywhere – teenagers happy! Delicious and reasonably priced food in the restaurant. This campsite is what made us decide to return to Sweden next year. 🇸🇪

Fantastic campsite. Beautiful scenery, right on a river where you can fish, swim, and canoe. Close to a long-distance cycle path on a former railway line, allowing for relatively flat, scenic bike rides. A friendly welcome, Dutch-speaking staff, good restroom facilities, and a simple shop and restaurant for basic necessities. Beaver safaris and rafting are also available.

Highly recommended! A lovely, friendly campsite; I don't think there's a language they don't speak. Quite large, but not crowded; there's plenty of room for everyone, and all the facilities are top-notch. The restaurant is also highly recommended; we had a delicious meal with a very tasty Eland beer. Don't miss dessert either. We were just passing through, so we only stayed one night, but we'd love to come back for a longer stay!
