Camping Melezza

Because we prefer a bit more peace and quiet and weren't looking for a large campsite, we chose Melezza. The description is spot on: not too big, quietly situated on a river (not immediately accessible, but accessible via stairs here and there). Super-friendly service, clean sanitary facilities, even with heaters in three of the four showers. There's a small swimming pool, a shop, and an Italian restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We were pleasantly surprised and can highly recommend the campsite.

Beautiful places, spacious places with shade. Free public transport, swimming pool and within cycling distance of the lake, what more could you want 😉 Karin and Rudi.

Nice campsite with very friendly owners. Spacious pitches with electricity and drinking water. Plenty of shade available. Clean and more than enough sanitary facilities. Dog-friendly, but no 'trouble'. Restaurant offers a great menu at reasonable prices, certainly by Swiss standards. Good base for Lago Maggiore, hiking and mountain biking, better than the very busy Italian campsites just a little further away in high season.
