The Hope Inn does not allow campers in its parking lot, even if you want to stay for dinner or drinks. The parking lot a little further “behind” the height barriers has a camper ban. Pointless to drive there.

This site by the harbor has nothing to do with the pub. Drive up at the pub and you will arrive at the grounds. After 5 pm, the height bar is opened by a young man who drives around in an ocher yellow closed (freight) car. Phone number is listed there. No amenities, but for £10 we had a great view and a quiet night.
lees meerbetween 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. the cashier is there and the height limit is gone. Nice quiet place with no service
