The seaside area was inaccessible, the height barrier remained closed (late October 2025). However, we were allowed to use the pub's parking area for the night. Great. It cost us and our Swiss neighbors (nice!) a few pints. Does that also apply during peak season?

Parking is only allowed at the Hope Inn on Mondays and Tuesdays. The parking lot a little further away indeed no longer has a parking space for campers.

The Hope Inn does not allow campers in its parking lot, even if you want to stay for dinner or drinks. The parking lot a little further “behind” the height barriers has a camper ban. Pointless to drive there.
