Deerness Community Centre Caravan and Campsite

If you use French/European Aires then you’ll get this site, except it has the added bonus of immaculately clean showers and toilets. It also has a large washing machine (£5 a go) which is useful on longer trips/full timing. Level tarmac car park outside the community centre with fresh water and ehu. No black or grey water dump facilities though. It’s next to the Mull Head road which has some traffic during the day but is very quiet at night.

Excellent showers and toilet facilities but neither chemical toilet emptying, nor grey water emptying points. Large capacity washing machine (about £5.20 depending on program). Microwave and dishwashing sink. enclosed children’s play area. Handy for Deerness Stores (about 0.5km). Good Wi-fi (free). price per night for 2adults, Motorhome and electric hook-up: £20. Not the most scenic location, considering available beautiful local landscape!

Fairly uninspired place to stay overnight but plenty of space. There are much nicer places to stay. Good if you’re desperate!
