It has been a nice place for us to visit family and the city of Groningen for years. Recently there have been (new) signs stating that you can stay here for a maximum of 72 hours. You can park in the spaces outside the camper spot for 24 hours.

Spots very muddy, many long lasting spots. for 1 night with complete self-sufficiency.
At the real camper pitches you could not stand in the places that were left, because of the mud, because you would have to call the towing service the next morning. The municipality of Groningen should do something about this by paving the camper pitches. Many campers now park in regular parking spaces, which is understandable but not the intention. There are even two caravans at the moment!
