Camping Solitudo

Well, we wanted to visit Dubrovnik, and due to a lack of places nearby, this was the only option. We arrived and went to reception. We could choose from several pitches, but they were all in the higher price range. Apparently, the "cheaper" pitches were unusable after the recent rain. The expensive pitches were supposedly full the next day, as the other ones were then...

The campsite is open as usual. Excellent, not crowded campsite, clean restrooms. Bus to the old town €2.50, explanation at reception. We paid €42.60 without electricity, dog, or child.

We stayed in section B, which had reasonably clean sanitary facilities. You can choose your own pitch, and there's plenty of choice, as despite peak season, about a quarter of the pitches are occupied. It's a large campsite with limited facilities, and it's expensive for what you get (€95 per night for a campervan and 4 people). There's a market, which is also quite expensive (€1.80 for a can of beer). The beach is within walking distance (about 400 m). It's a perfect location for a day trip to Dubrovnik; a 15-minute bus ride costs €2.50 per person one way.
