Camping Ciela Village Forcalquier Les Routes de Provence

The campsite is open! It's within walking distance of the charming town, which often hosts a market. There's a large Provençal market on Monday mornings, so we're checking out later. The grounds and sanitary facilities (which were clean!) could use an upgrade; the large pitches all have shade and some sun. There's a lovely swimming pool with sunbeds, a volleyball court, a pétanque court, and a small restaurant/bar. We enjoyed cycling (e-bike) in the area and stayed longer.

Great campsite near a lovely town. The asphalt is a bit old, so there are some potholes here and there, but it's easy to drive on. The hedges are trimmed, and all pitches are easily accessible for a 6.4-meter campervan. If you have a long campervan, I'd recommend parking near the front. The sanitary facilities are clean and cleaned twice a day. The showers are lovely and warm.

Significant maintenance backlog, no hot water, paths that are far too narrow, and tight turns (due to unpruned vegetation along the paths), causing damage to the camper. The staff, however, are very friendly and helpful.
