Jagstcamp Widdern

To be honest, we're camping newbies... which is why I didn't give a review right away! Now we've gotten to know a few campsites for comparison. My summary for Widdern: The campsite impresses with its simplicity. Arrive, choose your pitch, and pay easily (put money in an envelope, drop it in the mailbox, and that's it). The campsite has everything we needed for two days. Thank you :-)

A campervan site for transit. Good gravel pitches. Basic amenities available. Electricity is provided by coins! The surrounding area is great for cycling. The surrounding villages are not particularly noteworthy. Payment is made via an envelope at a kiosk.

Always a good stop on your way through. Also ideal for large motorhomes. Apparently, the spots are reserved in advance, which we consider a major disadvantage! A motorhome parking space should operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
