Restaurant Ripken

A great place to stay when there's no meeting and plenty of cars parked, including campervans. You'll also see the workmen's vans who stay overnight at the hotel, opening and closing their sliding doors at 6 a.m. while their engines are still running. When this isn't the case, it's a top-notch spot with a very good restaurant and affordable prices.

A great concept (just like in the UK) that we should have in the Netherlands too. Parking is free if you eat at the restaurant. You do need to register and make a reservation for dinner. The menu is typically German. The food was good quality. The restrooms are simple but effective. The same goes for the electricity column. It's a nice bike ride to Oldenburg; about 7 km. The road in front didn't bother us.

Great place to stay. Clean bathrooms and delicious food in the restaurant. I'm not a fan of the cash machines, but it's what it is. Recommended if you're traveling through.
