We were literally met with a closed door; a sign had been put up saying the campsite was closed until May 2026. And that was indeed the case. It wasn't indicated anywhere else, not even on the website, so it was a bit sloppy. We just drove on to First Camp Lunde.

It's already low season here, which means an overnight stay for two people costs 350 kr. There's a small shop at the reception. Despite the terrible weather, it's a beautiful spot overlooking the water. You can choose where you want to pitch. The showers are excellent and cost 10 kr. for a 3-minute walk. There's a bakery nearby with local products, one within walking distance in the town center, and two supermarkets.
