We were literally met with a closed door; a sign had been put up saying the campsite was closed until May 2026. And that was indeed the case. It wasn't indicated anywhere else, not even on the website, so it was a bit sloppy. We just drove on to First Camp Lunde.

Beautiful spot, right on the water. We really enjoyed the view. Highly recommended if you're in the area. Definitely make a reservation to be sure you have a spot, as it fills up quickly. We paid about €40 per night for the spot, including electricity and bathroom fixtures. We also rented a canoe for two hours, which was €60. At the end of August, the sun disappears from the campsite around 6:00 PM.

A beautiful, quiet campsite right on the Sognefjord. You can watch the sunset beautifully. We stayed there overnight as a stopover on our way from Bergen to Loen. Showers are not included, so you have to get tokens at the reception. The restrooms are clean. The campsite is near a road, which you can hear quite clearly.

We initially wanted to camp at Skjersvika Rasteplass, but it was already full around 4:00 PM, so we drove on to this campsite. Without electricity for the campervan, we paid about €40 for one night. The restrooms were clean, but we did have to queue for our dishes and showers in the evening. It was the perfect place to spend the night before heading out for the Preikestolen hike early. We started the hike at 6:00 AM, which was wonderfully peaceful.

A beautiful, spacious campsite with a pleasant atmosphere. The sanitary facilities are dated but relatively clean. The reception staff were very friendly. We stayed there for two days, and it was wonderful with a view of the river. There's not much in the area, but it's a nice place to relax or to continue your journey.

A lovely spot by the water, but lacking atmosphere, and you can hear the road clearly. The restrooms are clean, with two showers per bathroom. First-come, first-served. Connection to Bergen is excellent: take bus 29 to Nesttun and then tram 1 to Bergen. Another option is bus 29 to Arna, then walk to the station and take the L4 train to Bergen. Return trip costs about 8 euros per person.
