Camping de Covas

A friendly welcome, a small campsite nestled in greenery. Dated but clean sanitary facilities, excellent shower. There's a bar and outdoor terrace. A large swimming pool with clean (fresh) water, but I still wanted to take a dip. Excellent campsite, highly recommended.

The campsite is located in a quiet area. The receptionist did her best to find us a pitch even though the campsite was full. The pool is nice, and the restrooms are very adequate, although the water on the men's side is very cold... while the water on the women's side is hot.

Great and wonderfully quiet campsite, certainly for Portuguese standards. Swimming pool not very clean; just shower afterwards. Apparently you can eat deliciously and cheaply there. Unfortunately we missed that, but the lunch in the local cafe was also delicious and very Portuguese.
