Shamwari Hilltop Retreat - Camping Park

For us, the most fantastic place in Portugal. Everything has been thought of: washing machine, dryer with clotheslines, etc., both indoors and outdoors. Perfect bathroom facilities, a cozy cafe where Billy prepares a meal every day. Carpeting for the caravan, stunning views, and opportunities for walking and cycling. We stayed here for over three weeks and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves despite the inclement weather. Helena makes you feel at home. Shamwari means "my friend," how fitting!

We love coming back here again and again. The peace, space, and nature make this a wonderful place. The bathrooms are clean, the location and views are beautiful, especially the sunset. There's a cozy Happy Hour café, a sandwich service, delicious pizzas, and a daily special, including vegetarian options. Good walking and cycling routes to Alcoutim are available. Beautiful place and nice places with a large piece of artificial grass. Pizzas are fine. Price/quality not in accordance.
