it is a pleasant campsite for one or two days on this small island. There are many permanent caravans/houses, but we got a nice spot on the lawn behind the red barn. sanitary facilities ladies fine, shower a bit on the expensive side: 2x10 kr. Nice island, although small. Lots of swimming facilities in the summer, but probably also busy. Another option is to leave the camper in Kragerø and take a day trip.

this is a rather depressing 'campsite'. We were forced to go here on 21/6/2024) because all campsites along the 13 were full. We were also a bit late, in the early evening. Three toilets and 1 shower for the entire campsite is absurd. The only advantage is that it is close to the place where you can eat. several restaurants near the harbor (simple) and in the town that were still open at 8/9 p.m. (Friday)

small campsite on a lawn. Not really suitable for larger motorhomes. nearby restaurant is convenient but was not really great but can be one time experience. The campsite is closed with a gate for which you receive a chip. close to the beach and beautiful nature reserve Kemeri . National Park

29/6/2022 beautifully situated on the bay with beach. restaurant at the campsite. Quiet now in preseason but will be busy in summer with little shade. sanitary facilities sufficient and clean. Camping is at a price: €33 for a camper and 2 people. There is a passenger and bicycle ferry from the campsite to the Curonian Spit. 1 km away good and special fish restaurant. What you get depends on the catch of the day.

excellent location relative to the center in a nice neighborhood. adequate sanitary facilities. quite small places for larger campers. nice coffee bar. Also a lot of backpackers, nice atmosphere.

June 2022. great base for a trip to the city. bus stop in front of the door. Pay €1 per person to the city on the bus. Other than that, nothing special. There was only 1 toilet and 1 shower for ladies. Other toilet building was closed, maybe temporarily. was clumsy.

Contrary to previous reviews, June 2022 there is a great campsite slightly uphill at the visitor center of the NP (by the way, they don't speak a word of English in the center, but may be different in high season). camping boss speaks good english. Excellent facilities and from Paluse you can walk, rent canoes and swim. costs are €20 camper and €6 pp. The free place by the lake is ok but is close to the road. busy on weekends too

beautifully situated campsite, overlooking the sea and sunset. nice sanitary facilities but you pay relatively much money for a lukewarm shower. thought the shower was €0.50 but was per minute. To get the shower up to temperature, you have to lose some 0.50 coins. For lukewarm, against cold, water. That's the only downside. Also a nice little restaurant by the sea. tanja
