Beautiful views, good sized plots under trees or in open. Facilities very good and clean. Staff were all helpful (one gentleman was not talkative but he was helpful despite my poor Italian, and others spoke English). walk to town took 35 minutes over a small hill, pleasant but hot work. Bus stops at the campsite every hour €1.70 a ticket at reception or €2.40 if you pay driver. Camping €7 for the pitch, €17.50 per person, €12.50 for 4th day on.

Renovation is progressing with paved areas and water alongside electrical outlets that work. Nowhere to pay. Restaurant next door was very good. views are excellent and village with small supermarket is short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view from the site. Friendly welcome. Steep walk from the lakeside to the 3 toilets. Sanitary block with good showers. I would probably not come in high season as day-trippers park along road making access tricky. I think it’s a bit expensive but the view is the selling point. Restaurant was very busy and looked good for simple food, burgers, pizzas- I did not try it.

Very large and shady pitches with excellent sanitary block and under €20 for two people including 10amp electricity. Peaceful on the edge of the forested slopes with lots of birdsong. Very friendly welcome from English speaking owners. Well away from the main road but easy to access. Bread and croissants available to order, but no local shops or restaurants. Plenty of walks and cycling routes.

There is a busy road alongside the site but seems quiet at night in this fine location. At 9:30 this evening I am enjoying the birdsongs. Just choose a space when you arrive and money is collected in the evening. Good clean toilets and showers. The plots are grassy, level and spacious with electricity if needed. High dense hedges separating the plots. At €14.50 for two with electricity I think it very good value.

Close to Lidl and good for visiting the city with lots of spaces, but the sanitary facilities are filthy and toilet emptying requires lifting a manhole cover. several people have not bothered to do that and emptied onto (not into) the drain for fresh water. Chose to move elsewhere.

A decent location with accessible shops and restaurants and fine view of the monastery but the spaces are far too narrow. We chose not to stay. The alternative close by is even less attractive and the service column there was surrounded by excrement. The toilet drain is inoperable and the only alternatives are to lift a heavy manhole cover or misuse the other water drain.
