Campsite with plenty of space. Bathroom facilities are a bit dated. The cost per night is too high and certainly doesn't match the amenities offered: for two people, a mobile home, and a dog, we spent more than €46.

Warning. The area is practically abandoned. No water. No sewage. Black water. No grey water sewage. The only thing that seems to work is electricity. It's a real shame to abandon such a beautiful structure in a wonderful position.

The 5 stars are for the enchanting location, a few hundred meters from the beach of Baratti and a little further from the necropolis of Populonia, and for the tranquility of the place. The campsite is isolated in nature, in a notoriously "difficult" location for campers. Pitches with water and electricity. Toilet drainage a little precarious.

Be careful! The area is paid and to enter you need to download an application that requires a lot of data and is really poorly developed (for example, it does not allow you to write the name of the municipality of residence, a name that you have to search for by scrolling through the list of all Italian municipalities. Really unnerving). When you are finally ready, there is the risk of discovering that the area is full, even if you see free places...

The beauty of the place and the nearby beach deserve 5 stars. But: the attacks for electricity are only 4 and very precarious (the electricity was not there on arrival and went away at night) and the mixture with cars is very annoying. Unable to discharge gray water. Still worth a stop.
