The campsite on the map is different! If you like crowds, rows of white caravans, and the typical Zandvoort atmosphere...then this is the place for you. But if you prefer peace and quiet, a small-scale setting, and a 10-minute walk to the sea, then this is the place for you. This camper site is signposted just before the village. Clean sanitary facilities, spacious pitches, €34 per night including electricity, and an exceptionally friendly owner. There is no (yet) wastewater disposal facility. There is a chemical toilet.

Great campsite, but a bit pricey (45 euros per night, including electricity and shower tokens). It's a great base for exploring Gaustatoppen. From the campsite, follow the railway line (permitted). A bus regularly passes by the bridge (just wave) and takes you up for free. The walk is fantastic and the views breathtaking. The campsite has lovely, spacious pitches, but in peak season, the sanitary facilities are limited in terms of capacity. They are new, though.

We didn't actually stay at the campsite, but a bit further away. Truly amazing...the view of the water and Gaustatop. Quite busy during the day (by Norwegian standards), but wonderfully peaceful in the evenings and at night. Plenty of hiking opportunities and a beautiful nature reserve.

Exceptionally clean campsite. Excellent sanitary facilities and very clean. It is, however, a strict campsite with strict rules regarding camper pitches and the number of sanitary facilities (all very efficient and no more than necessary). The pitch determines the price. It's also an excellent base for the famous lock complex. And definitely rent a canoe...the tributary gave us the gift of an otter, a beaver, and a moose (be very quiet, especially in the evenings).

We were on the lake, and it's a beautiful spot. Good amenities, including laundry machines and clean bathrooms. It was a bit pricey, though...45 euros a night, including the washer and dryer. We were greeted at reception by a very friendly and charming young woman. It's a campsite for many locals with permanent pitches. But pitch 57 was fantastic!

Lillehammer is a great place to visit. It's special to be at an Olympic venue among the cross-country skiers whizzing by (on roller skis). Don't expect too much from this place. It's adequate, but that's about it. The amenities are reasonable, including electricity and restrooms.

Spent a night "off the grid" in this area...Summarized in one word: breathtaking!

Quiet, spacious pitches, clean restrooms, but a bit pricey. Perfect for a stopover on your way to the mountains.

A great base for exploring Bergen. Tram about 1 km away, which takes you right to the center. Good restrooms, a kitchen, and laundry facilities (for a fee). The site is a paved area between several businesses, so not the best view. And now, during peak season, it's full...very full. There are around 25 campers, which puts pressure on the facilities' capacity.

In itself a nice campsite, but very full/busy. Clean sanitary facilities, but strange that there are only sinks at the toilets to shave for example. Not our type of campsite and you have to be early to get a nice spot with a view of the fjord. We looked out on the local school and then 45 euros per night is quite expensive. But for an overnight stay fine and an excellent base for the 4 waterfalls and the ferry.

Great place for a few nights, clean sanitary facilities and close to shops and the ferry to the north. Owner friendly and very direct, we like that! 😉

The reception by the owner is great! Very friendly and very hospitable. Small-scale campsite with excellent facilities. Although somewhat dated, but that is really due to the previous owner. Current owners are working hard to modernize the campsite. Spacious camping spots, clean sanitary facilities and an excellent base for walking/cycling. Shops, restaurants and wellness around the corner. And the rolls from the local baker are great!
