If only every city had a campsite like this! I can endorse all the previous positive reviews. Conveniently located near Paris and Versailles, the latter of which is also easily accessible by (electric) bike (about 14 km on cycle paths, though the entire route is a bit of a steep climb). We recommend booking a campsite. We were here during the autumn break, and the campsite was full every night. The sanitary facilities were, in my opinion, okay for a full campsite. €52 for 2 people, including electricity.

Four stars for the campsite and its location, and an extra one for the enthusiastic owners. The camping pitches are at the front of the campsite, and the permanent pitches are further away. We were opposite the bar, which was open on Saturday evenings. But there was no disturbance, and it closed at 9:30 PM. Dinant (12 km) and Namur (17 km) are easily accessible by bike on a good cycle path. The panoramic restaurant Les 7 Meuses is highly recommended.

Since La Meije, after several attempts, hadn't chosen a spot for Gravelotte in the first week of August. Reservations for less than three days are not possible, but arrive before noon and there's still plenty of room. Don't be put off by the "complete" signs at the entrance! The restrooms are fine, as far as I'm concerned. Never wait longer than 10 minutes. The waterfront spots are nice, but the road along them gets quite dusty and sometimes gets driven on quickly.

Authentic French campsite that we frequent. Some find it rather chaotic. During our stay in early August, it was 80% full, yet very peaceful. Sanitary facilities are basic and clean, and the showers are hot. As is increasingly common in France, gender separation is not present. Spacious pitches with plenty of shade. Close to the ViaRhôna, a beautiful cycle path that easily takes you to Montélimar (15 km). We stayed here for one day while passing through without a reservation. €32 for 2 people + electricity.

The campsite is now called CityKamp A-en-P, part of Huttopia. Formerly Chantecler. We've been coming here since 2014, and the renovation has been a great success. New sanitary facilities and restaurant. The swimming pool has been refurbished. Many camping pitches have been replaced by (wooden) chalets, but these are separate. There's no price difference between campervan pitches and camping pitches. The latter offer more shade but aren't always level. Plenty of space even in July/August.

We can only endorse all the previous positive reviews of this former camping site, Manicupal. A very friendly welcome and flexibility regarding pitches. We were there the last week of July, when all sorts of festivities were taking place in Sommières (and in the adjacent arena). You can clearly hear this happening at the campsite. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you should avoid this week. The campsite was also almost full this week.

It's not a campsite with clearly demarcated pitches; you can pitch wherever you like. We were on the riverbank, which doesn't have pitch numbers at all, but does have 6-amp electricity and a small water tap. The campsite seems to be under-maintained. The sanitary facilities are clean, and the showers are nice and warm. Don't stand too close to the septic tank; you can smell it. The owner will tell you where it is. A good cycle path to Anduze (approx. 10 km) runs 1.5 km outside the campsite.

A lovely French campsite with friendly owners. Basic but clean sanitary facilities. Pitches 75 through 83 are suitable for campervans up to 7.5 meters long. Other pitches are a bit more difficult to access and only suitable for small campervans. Bread and a small bar are available on site. Vals-les-Bains, with its many restaurants, is 3 km away, and Aubenas is 4.5 km away. Easily accessible by (electric) bike. Close to the Via Ardèche (a cycle path along a former railway line, highly recommended!).
