We had a few pitches to choose from, but some were already occupied, and reception wasn't up to par. The showers were lukewarm, and the spray head, almost 2.5 meters high, sprayed most of the water right next to me. Furthermore, this feels more like a chalet park than a campsite. They've changed so much to their detriment, and the camping atmosphere isn't what it used to be. We wanted to return after years, and that's a one-time thing, never again. I'd prefer not to give even one star.

The camper site was full, even the permitted spot had 12 campers. Sittensen is apparently very popular and has too little space. This was the first time we couldn't stay after stopping here so often.

I didn't find this a comfortable place to stay overnight. It slopes quite steeply, and Ikea is better and more spacious.

Great place to fill up your water tank, empty your tank, and empty your toilet.

We stayed here for two nights. The place has no amenities, which is fine. You can dispose of your trash in the Ikea bins. There are plenty of them.

We visited this campsite and asked if we could shower alone (for a fee). Unfortunately, that wasn't possible, and the friendly staff member told us he knew a nearby spot where we could: the Marina harbor in the village, less than 5 minutes from the campsite. If you don't want to visit an expensive campsite, this is definitely recommended. You only pay for the time you use it (we paid 40 NOK for 2 people).

We've been coming to this beautiful campsite for years and consider it the most beautiful we've visited in Norway. The staff and owner are very friendly. There are plenty of sanitary facilities, although it often seems like most people prefer to use the small shower and toilet facilities, even though there's a large building there as well. A great bakery and supermarket are within walking distance through the small forest. We definitely recommend this campsite.

We arrived and were not at all happy. The campsite seemed deserted and there was no one there, even though the light was on at reception. We checked out the restrooms and then left again. There was a phone number on the reception window, and we didn't bother calling.

A great place to dump water, empty the toilet, and fill up with water. The most beautiful place we visited during our trip, and where everything was indeed possible.

We missed being able to fill up and dump water and empty the toilet at this location. We might have had to lift the manhole cover for this. So, we didn't.

This is not a camper site, but a parking lot for customers.

A quiet camper site with a large dumpster. The pitches are demarcated, and when we were there, there were 12. There were always campers who chose to continue their journey. We had a very quiet, pleasant night.

Friendly staff, clean but outdated sanitary facilities, a very busy campsite with guests who don't follow the rules and are still making noise after 10 pm. Our first time, never again.

We spent one night there last year and again this year. It's a great place for a stopover.

we went to have a look and it was already very busy and left again. if you have to stand like that and there is also camping behavior while this is not allowed I think it is a waste of my money and I prefer to look further where I can stand a bit quieter.

Been here briefly today. Was full early in the day (before 12 noon) and there were also (too) large campers outside the boxes. It is a shame that people do not understand if a maximum allowed length is stated. Is a problem on several CPs and it would be a shame if they all had to be closed.

Great place. We slept there last night. Can imagine that this place is less in high season because of the camping guests who go to and from the camping a little further. We did not have to use any facilities other than the garbage.

Been here yesterday. Was only found with the lower coordinates. The place looks nice on the photos, it was a bumpy little piece of grass. We were "put away" in a corner and were not allowed to stand by the water. So we also left. Far from what we thought we found here and for us the revieuws did not match what we found.

Nice place. We emptied our porta potti and a lot came out of their camper. Believe that a lot of overnight stays here.

Beautiful campsite with hospitable owners. We were here 2 nights this time and will definitely be back. Wifi (5G) works perfectly. Sanitary beautiful, we had already seen that. There is a pleasant atmosphere.

We spent the night there from 6 June to 7 June. Shame on me for fellow motor home travelers. And again, asos were there. Throwing food on the grass for the birds, throwing butts everywhere and very noisy and not taking others into account. This kind of fellow motor home owners ruin it for us and other people who know how to behave. There were now too many campers. Control would be good here.

For the umpteenth time in this great place. We were positively surprised that now 6 places were marked and marked out for smaller campers. It was also crazy with those large campers that stood across. They can no longer be here. We are happy with it. Well done town. The WC across the street was also open on a public holiday.

We come here regularly and are always happy because it is a nice place. Unfortunately this time not. The entire parking space was full of funfair and trucks and this seemed like a storage place. We arrived in the middle of the night and parked the car on the sidewalk. At 8 o'clock they were all around us driving away and we left before we would be confined.

We stood there for a while and still chose the campground a little further down the road to take a more rest.

Excellent camping. We did feel that the men shower gave hot water longer than the ladies shower. At the bottom of the kitchen we spent the evening with our friends.

Nice place along the Rv7. We stood there last night. No one at all and therefore could not pay. Sanitary was nice and clean, but expensive. I needed 2x 20 Nok to shower. If you then count that as the overnight price, it is very cheap.

The only downside I find that this site was full of permanent places. That was 6 years ago less than now. Furthermore, only praise! Even the sanitary building is heated. We stood there last night for 270 Nok and that was incl flow.

If you, like us, have the late boat to Larvik this is definitely not recommended. Just after 6 o'clock the work traffic raced past this place and you do not sleep anymore. We did not have any problems with the station.

Nice place, we slept very well last night. Friendly Dutch owner. We met our German friends here spontaneously. Now in the late season we have paid 190 sek.

If I could give this place a 0 I would do that too. What a terrible place and still awful manager. We stood at the front of the street and also gave our neighbors the view of the harbor. Should not. Car had to be the other way around and the millimeter as she wanted. Outdated plumbing where we did not want to take a shower. As far as we are concerned, far too expensive for what you have there.

Prima free camper place that is very illuminated, which was a flaw for us. An advertising light box that flashed and a very bright lamp at the camper spots. Sound / traffic was audible and we did not feel annoying.

We have stayed in the beginning and end during our holiday. Camping was already closed and we could lose our garbage, drain water and wash toilet. These facilities are therefore easily accessible outside the season. Further quietly stood.

Last time on my way to Iceland again, this lovely old man stood alone. Even though he speaks only Danish, he really wanted to get in touch. I think he liked that someone was with him who took the Smyril Line instead of the Color Line of the Fjord Line. He is going back hard, we found. Hopefully we will be able to join him next year.

We went there on weekends. Nobody saw to pay and the plumbing was terribly dirty. Not outdated but just dirty because people left it dirty and nobody cleaned it. Water and discharge were already closed in connection with the frost. Fortunately, the N1 petrol station was near where these 2 amenities were still available.

Prima camping, report at the hotel reception in the village. Sanitary is clean and for the showers, ISK 400 has to be paid. There is a common area where you can cook and wash off and you can warm up. Wifi must be purchased. Water refueling and toilet drainage are fine. The cleanest campsite we have seen in Iceland. Top.

Both on the return trip here overnight. Everything is present. Sanitary heated and clean. Water can drain and porti potti can leak. Ask for seniors discount, because you will not get it if you do not ask (you must be 67+).

We have been able to make use of all the facilities, although it was already closed (there were also other guests). All nice place where a shared heated room is located in the showers and WCs, where you can cook and wash off. There is also room to sit, though it is limited. Water could also be tanked and we could empty our porti potti.

Report to the hotel and the price is on the proper side. Stream is almost as expensive as a person and is really not in proportion. Places are beautiful although cars are over for "into the glacier". Sanitary outdated and dirty. Water did not even run out of the shower and, in my opinion, was not cleaned or made too little.

Although the site was closed according to the website (10-11 October), the owner came in. Camping was very drastic, uneven and illuminated. Sanitary was insufficient and not clean. Hence the low grade. In any case, ask for the seniors discount, because you will not get it if you do not ask for it.

Super camping, although in the off season not all places were available. We were unlucky that our Truma went and the owner offered us to come and stay at her home. In case of emergency we always have our small electric stove with us and saved us with it. We did not have to pay anything because we had such a bad luck. Arriving on time, because it may be full later in the evening.

We also stood there last month in connection with the Walvis Safari, and there is really no alternative in the area. Paying had to be done across the pool and when I asked for info, it could not be given because they had to collect it alone. Dirty and outdated sanitary ware, which I did not use. We have tanked here only water during the Easter weekend and it looked fine.

Prima camper where many day hikers with dogs came over to walk in the park. We were there two nights, unfortunately went campers are placed sideways and thus occupy two places per camper. The night really quiet.

Fine place to dump everything. We arrived late at night, when we got off the boat and were finding it more difficult in the dark on the parking, while it does well directed. Follow the signs for discharging campers and almost at the end of the parking is free place. WC discharge into the gray water spot.

When we were there it stormed. Not a good spot in this weather. Toilet is too far away and supermarket 1.5 km. No amenities beyond.

Great camping. Wifi around and at the reception. We paid 19 euros including electricity. CCI of the NKC was not accepted and water tanks costs money. Clean bathrooms.

Fine and quiet place where only was a dustbin. We saw also eastern Europe Serbian men dive into the bushes and one came back to move the car to the side so we could not see what they were in charge. Everybody is much too close together. Showering is 5kr for 4 min and 10 Kr 8 min). 2 different showers tried, both 8 minutes long freezing cold water. The owner gave other campers blame because they tried according to him, with other money. Music in various places very hard. Basins v / d showers are used to cast / to clean off vegetable, bad spot.

For a campsite only 3 years by Peggy (Belgian) and Patrick (Dutch) is run, these two works hard on a very nice spot in southern Sweden. Wonderfully quiet when we were there, with great possibility to take into fun stuff. Clean bathrooms and we can all recommend the elk farm that there is not really far away. Thanks for this great 3 nights.

We have been here last 5 days and only had to pay 4 (4th night is free). Nice place where you can stand on the water, clean showers and toilets, though the toilets very tight. Supermarket a few kilometers away. There is also nothing to see, very quiet site.

Nobody is in the middle of nowhere. The window was open and the door a note that you only had to call them (not convenient for foreign tourists with prepaid cards).

Pity we could not sleep well connected with the highway nuisance behind. The toilet was so incredibly dirty that one could catch a serious disease and we have therefore not used. The containers were full and smelly (not nearly emptied maybe?).

Dutch owners who are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful and very quiet site and a must for nature lovers and anglers. We are on our way North stayed here two nights. Restaurant nearby (walking distance) are also Dutch.

Pretty nice place, that are sadly used by other motor home to empty and fill up their toilet water. Toilet was open 24 hours and maybe they need to overnight close again so that motor home not abuse this place. Village is well worth a visit.

Great place to spend a night. Wifi reception is just in the Christmas village and clean water you currently nowhere "refuel" in connection with construction work. Nice to sleep peacefully. WC we used the restaurant (open from 8:00 to 22:00 pm). Souvenirs abound (not our taste).

Plenty of room for campers. Nice and clean and heated toilets and showers which are free to use. For current pay extra. Internet was included in the price though I was not there, and the harbormaster himself either. Yesterday evening into the night loud music and this morning it was around work on time, and it was done with the rest. Otherwise fine amenities.

We have here the night of Dec 11 to Dec 12. camped and were the only one on the entire campsite. Very quiet and friendly staff. Plumbing was clean and heated. We spoke very eco-friendly campsite that this comes to energy, waste and water.

Lovely place with friendly owners. When we were there gave the adjacent outdoor lot of shouting which is a pity. Moreover, we had no wifi at the end of the field. This we reported the deal would be reset and started for the football. Unfortunately, it was no wifi and no one will ask.

Friendly staff, nice clean campground with spacious sites. We were there with a hit and everything went really well. There was even arranged that additional showers and toilets were that weekend.

Smelled really not good, though it went over time. Further good place, that is also free. With a dog beach within walking distance. It smelled very rotting seaweed when we arrived here. You get used to it after a while. Furthermore, a very peaceful place, unfortunately without amenities.

We have been here from 21:15 until 23:55 pm and had to pay 2 euros. That was not even four hours of free and that was disappointing. Silent was there.

Now it overnight and come very early and go carpoolers. From freeway virtually no hindrance encountered, but the traffic there and it came off.

Large parking lot during the day quite full for walkers. Without facilities. We have not stayed here.

We have been here at 19-6 with another 26 campers. We personally did not really fine free place because the grass strip was driven destroyed by bad weather and therefore could not be right.

Here stood a night. Lovely quiet place and that too free. The only small drawback I found that you could not rinse the Porta Potti or you had to take water for 2 euros (= 20 minutes), and that's what I found sin of the water that I did not used / needed.

Visited this place and it is a parking lot for hikers and nowhere is that it is a motorhome. Across the road there is a place where service is to be paid for water. The toilet is a public toilet for hikers. It's a nice service place. Upstairs is a small piece, and there is the view on a clear day wonderful!

We have been here last night. Up to half 5 this morning very loud music. No idea where this came from. On the water point is no possibility to connect your hose. Containers overcrowded and the spots were already full at 4 pm and the other motor home have their RVs parked across the plansoen for the night.
