Great place for an overnight stay. Also suitable for small campervans without an onboard bathroom and toilet. It does fill up quickly, though. Closer to the city (on the other side of the hospital) is another two-star campsite that also accommodates campervans (not listed in the NKC app).

A large campsite with many amenities, including a swimming pool primarily geared towards the public. Wristbands are practically mandatory. Ours wouldn't work either. We couldn't enter or leave the site. Far too expensive, especially for the off-season. Furthermore, the layout is poorly designed. In the evening, the flashing lights are blinding rather than illuminating. The restrooms are poorly lit and therefore difficult to find in the dark. We definitely won't be back!

Totally agree with the previous review. Very friendly reception and very helpful with taking our bikes on and off. The cold river behind the church is very refreshing!

Beautiful place that is unfortunately poorly maintained. Our electricity did not work. Do not let Google lead you up a small road from the SS17, but take the SP 21.

It is a regular parking lot that is completely full of cars when the weather is nice. The lot also slopes quite a bit. Not a pleasant place.

This doesn't seem to be a Camper place. It's a small round parking lot near the tunnel. There's no sign indicating that either.

Even when we were there on June 14, 2025, this camper site was closed.

Agree with the previous review. Just a simple campsite with hot water and a reasonable price. The forest area is also used by an archery club, at least on weekends. Small campers can go through the tunnel, others have to take a detour. Clearly indicated on the main road.

Beautiful place with basic facilities but unfortunately still closed on May 9, 2025. A friendly young man told us that the owner did not want anyone on his property before May 15, while the NKC app indicated: open today. He had experienced this before and would point this out to his boss again to pass this on.

Use of showers seems no longer possible (turnstiles closed), use costs €4 per day (if you are with two people) but emptying your faeces dissolved in chemicals is free! Not worth talking about. Fortunately, the quiet location with many walking and cycling opportunities makes up for a lot!

Totally agree with the previous review. If you pay cash you also get a discount, you don't have to show your passport and a Budvar beer to boot.

Staff in the restaurant/reception very friendly. The food is also excellent. That is certainly not the owner himself! We were a bit late leaving in the morning and it was very gruffly made clear to us that we should have left at 10 o'clock.

A small, quiet campsite on a hill with beautiful views. Enthusiastic staff who can tell you a lot about the area. Coastal path goes past it. From Ilfracombe you can take a beautiful, informative boat trip along the smugglers' coast. Recommended! And... nowhere else have I had such a beautiful view while doing the dishes!

Eco campsite with a beautiful view of a large field with eco sanitary facilities including hot water and excellent showers. In the middle of the South Downs National Park. Space for campers in the corners. Hospitable welcome. Owner cooks for the guests. Costs excl. food £21 pp.

Can't find what still looks like a campsite. campsite is permanently closed says Google. Continued to Sogafoss

This is no longer a campsite. There are now houses, there is a chain in front of the entrance and the sign with the camping symbol along the road has been removed. Similar to developments in the Netherlands with project developers. we drove on and found a spot at Snorrastadir Farm Hollidays about 50 km further east. Nice but limited place along the river with sanitary facilities in nearby building. Kr 3000.

If you come to the Lofoten for luxury bathroom, this is the perfect place. Do pay for the not always hot shower. Furthermore, very ordinary with the E-10 not too disturbing sight and audible. Great place to visit eg Solvaer and Kabelvag by bike (free bike path). Lofoten museum in Kabelvag is definitely worth a visit. Also a trip by boat to the Zeearenden and Trollfjord.

Nice campsite, fairly spacious areas with limited shade of young olive trees, narrow access road, clean sanitary facilities. Very welcoming reception (owner speaks english) with a tour of the organic vegetable garden. Was offered free wine and vegetables at our site (early May). During the high season they also make their own bread and the pool is also in use. We paid 20, - Euro.
