Friday evening, we arrived at the camper site exhausted, longing for some peace and quiet. Instead, we were met with loudly cheering pétanque players, a roaring lawnmower, the racket of fire drills just three meters from the camper site, and endless commotion. Peace and quiet? Forget it!

A reception in an office full of clutter, as if there has been no order for years. The old man shows that campers are not allowed to stand in the way - of course, every meter counts for more turnover. On Sundays the nice spots are cordoned off with wire. Only we are here with someone else. The reason for that is unknown. For 360 NOK per night (camper 320, 2 adults 30 and shower 10 NOK p.p. for 4 min shower, it feels like an expensive parking space with strange rules.

Accessible via a super narrow road (no oncoming traffic please!). Payment can be made via PayPal or IBAN, but beware: our bank charged €8 in costs! The campsite is completely paved, as if coaches are expected. You walk under high-voltage pylons. Due to strict rules, you are only allowed to view the water. Not a pleasant atmosphere, we left early. see pic.

Small, nice campsite on a river. Accessible via a narrow road (we were lucky: no oncoming traffic!). At the top you can pitch with electricity, at the bottom with a tent or 4x4 van. The lovely sound of flowing water drowns out any passing traffic. Warm welcome by Veronica and her sweet dog. Shower: 30 NOK pp, washing machine: 40 NOK. Total: 450 NOK.
