A quiet clean and well maintained site in rural Lincolnshire with local amenities. Friendly and helpful owners. For aviation enthusiasts RAF coningsby is nearby which is the RAF’s first Typhoon station and also home to the Battle of Britain memorial flight open to the public on weekdays. A fantastic day out. Will be back again

Great place for a stop over or for a few days. Staff very accommodating. Water WC and grey water. A small number of pitches have electric which cost a little more. About two miles (3.2K) from Bamburgh castle and conveniently situated for Holly Island. Will come again

Not worth staying here.The price is double if your camper is longer than 6mtrs. A very difficult approach for longer vehicles

Nice location just off the beach.water available plus rubbish disposal. Nearest service point is Rota. Local bar and restaurant. Would definitely call again when in the area next

On our approach along a dirt track we had to cross a wide concrete rain water dip and bottomed out our van. Very difficult for some vehicles particularly those with long hangovers at the rear. It looked a nice spot but would not return

Great place for a stop over when travelling either north or south. Just off the motorway with easy access and well sign posted off the motorway. All services available felt safe cheap fuel at local garage and well stocked food warehouse next to the bar which adjoins the garage. Will come again when passing

Police tolerate parking behind the police station despite no parking signs. If unsure on arrival ask at the police station. Water available but no other services. Interesting town worth a visit €30 4x4 bus tour of the park. Felt safe would call again

An almost deserted Spanish holiday town. Very quiet this. time of year and felt safe. Good walking along the beach and promenade. Handy shops about 1/2 mile away. Would call again. Probably very busy in the summer

Had an enjoyable time here. No loud dogs or kids playing loud music etc. Water and black waste available just ask other campers. Will come again

Stayed here last year and it was ok. This year the parking area just passed the museum entrance was full of stinking rubbish. We left and headed for Mazarin

Some construction work is on going. Parking area churned up and it really is not suitable for parking at this time. Pleasant views but would not return

Mixed parking with no facilities. The cp is not a picturesque place town looks interesting felt safe but decided not to stay the night

The official aire is a little dilapidated and unloved and would be difficult for some larger motor homes to gain access due to overhanging trees. On our arrival the water was not working. Further down the road and nearer to the beach there are better parking areas. There is a tap in the trees opposite the sports stadium and there is also an additional tap at the end of the road on the beach.

Called here on our way to Santiago from Lugo. A lovely route to drive and a very picturesque aire situated in a rural setting next to a small stream. Unfortunately on this occasion could not stay because the ground was sodden. Would return here again in the future in better weather conditions

Great place to visit city. For long vehicles it is a difficult approach. From the river you will ascend a hill with a sharp left hand bend followed 100 yds later by a set of traffic lights. Keep in the left lane the right lane is for turning right only. Cross the junction and after 60 yds there is a sharp right hand switchback. Follow road into cp. Enjoy your stay

Stopped here for 2 nights from 24th December 2019. Enjoyed a peaceful Xmas here in lovely surroundings.All facilities available. Will come again

This is a sports facility car park in small village. Great location if planning an early morning start to get across the border into Spain without using the toll road.very quiet and felt safe. Would use again

A good overnight stop. Lovely village. Would have stayed longer if the weather had been better. Unfortunately lost €2 trying to obtain water and electric. It was not obvious to us at the time that the machine was turned off. Would stop here again

Good for last minute shopping and an overnight stop for an early morning ferry crossing. Felt safe would use again

The facilities were available but grubby. Nice location. The site was full on the night we stayed most left early the following morning. A good stopover if you are transiting the toll free route Bayonne San Sebastián and wish to get off to an early start

Good for an overnight stop. Toilets were locked during our stay. Water is available in the picnic area. Waste bins. Well lit and felt safe. Restaurant was open in the evening. Would use again

Facilities are clean and the site is tidy. Plenty of space. There is a large innocuous notice board stipulating what you can’t do including not using stabilisers amongst other things. As the ground is uneven it means an uncomfortable nights sleep. We did not want to take the risk of the police calling during the night as a result of some minor indiscretions so we left disappointed.

Stayed here last night and felt safe. This is purpose built road side parking. A lovely view across the parkland and water. Opposite side of the road there appears to be a fish processing factory. No great smell on our visit. Good for a stop over

A new well laid out aire with clean and modern facilities. Located next to a busy road junction adjacent to a building site. Our train length is 10 mtrs and the well laid out parking bays were not long enough for us so we left

Called in here for a lunchtime stopover. Lovely place quiet all services in order plus free electric. Parking a bit tight.Vans May have to double up.would come again

We arrived at this site today. There was no one available at reception. The site and facilities were nice enough but it was rammed and the vans were parked to close for comfort so we left

Next to a busy road junction and only suitable for small campers.we have a car and caravan and couldn’t turn around. Had to reverse across a busy main road into the market area before being able to drive away. Life is full of little challenges🤠

A lovely and safe place to spend a night or two. No services. Approach from the south only. The road from the north is mainly a dirt track and bumpy. Will come again

Last night we stayed on the site at the bottom of the hill and walked up here to take a look. It is only suitable for smaller campers. A previous contributor had problems with the police at this site. We believe that this may have been due to it being just inside the boundary of the national park. It is probably better to camp out at the bottom of the hill

This is a must visit location if you are passing this way. Rubbish bin but no other services. Good access road and level ground. Busy during the day with locals but very quiet at night with the exception of the sea

The service area is nothing to do with Lidl’s. It is part of the car wash facility on the adjacent property.The cost for service is €3. The attendant was most helpful. We have a car and 6mtr caravan combination and had to reverse out of the service bay. The reverse was a little tricky but not impossible

Excellent location next to the beach. Several campers here feels safe would return again. No facilities

All services were available and they were free. The parking area was potholed and as it had recently rained they were full of rainwater. Most campers were parked on scrubland the other side of the Island. Closed for 24 hours each week from 8pm on Friday
